What happens if I switch my current utility service?
Deregulation allows you to switch who you buy your natural gas from, but it doesn’t let you switch your gas service entirely. Even after you choose NOVEC Energy Solutions, the local utility in your area will continue to service your gas lines, meter your usage, and handle billing.
Because of deregulation, you’re now free to choose who supplies your natural gas and get the best price. NOVEC Energy Solutions has agreements with the following utilities Washington Gas & Light (in MD, DC, and VA), Baltimore Gas & Electric, and Columbia Gas (in VA, PA, and KY). If one of these is your utility company, then you can choose NOVEC Energy Solutions as your natural gas provider.
How do I switch service providers?
It’s simple! You can go to our website here to fill out the online enrollment form or give us a call at 1-888-627-7283. When you have your natural gas account number handy, it takes just five minutes to select your rate plan and enroll.
When should I expect to see NOVEC Energy Solutions reflected on my bill?
Typically, it takes 30-45 days from the date of enrollment to see NOVEC Energy Solutions reflected on your bill.
